National Agricultural Insurance Scheme (NAIS) is implemented from Kharif 2000 season with an objective to provide a measure of financial support to the farmers in the event of Crop loss due to any calamity to restore the credit eligibility for the next season and to stabilize farm incomes.

• Pradesh is the only State to have "Village as Insurance Unit" Scheme in all the districts of the Andhra state from Kharif 2008 season onwards. The Village level insurance programme provided more benefits to the farmers as the losses in smaller area would be more representative. The crops for the village level implementation are selected based on the cropped area under the principal crops.As regards the position of Crop Insurance at present, A.P. stands in No. 1 position in terms of area covered, farmers covered/claims paid and farmers benefited. Recently the Claims in respect of Kharif 2011& Rabi 2011-12 amounting to Rs. 460.30 Cr. in favour of 10.20 lakh farmers was released for all the twenty two districtCrop Insurance Scheme, from the inception of the scheme i.e., from Kharif 2000 season an Under amount of Rs.4651.38 Crores paid as Crop Insurance Claim benefiting 72 lakh farmers in the State.

E-PATTA AARVULU JABITHA | RYTHU BHAROSA STATUS

 

Electronic crop booking (e- Crop booking) is an Android application launched with a local name called e-Panta, which is designed to know the ground reality of the crop details and to analyse the crop pattern across the state and to capture the standing crop in the state. Photographs as evidence in the case of crop damage and insurance are also available as the arable land in the state has been captured in latitude and longitude along with subdivision and occupancy.

• Season wise real time crop coverage on ground using android app. 
• Joint Ajamaishi by Agriculture(VAA/VHA/VSA) and Revenue(VRO). 
• Date of sowing and variety grown being captured. 
• Provision for monitoring of the data both JDA/DDH and HOD level. 
• Provision for booking of all crops i.e., Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture and Fodder crops. 
• Capturing the information of actual cultivator whether land owner or tenant. 
• Provision to capture mid-term crop evaluation/condition with expected yields. 
• Estimation of market arrivals along with quantities. 
• For better implementation of Rythu Barosa,Crop Insurance,Input subsidy,procurement operations.

AP New Rice Card Eligibility | RICE CARD AADHAR SEEDING STATUS

 

AP New Rice Card Eligibility:

1.Monthly electricity consumption should be less than 300 units.

2.The family should not own 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted)

3.No family member should pay income tax.

4.Total family income should be less than Rs. 10,000 per month in rural areas and Rs. 12,000/-           per month in urban areas.

5.Total land holding of the family should be less than 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of dry land or 10       acres of both wet and dry land together.

6.In urban areas family who owns no property or less than 750 sft built-up area.

7.No family member should be Government employee or pensioner (all sanitary workers are                      exempted).

Rice Card Number, Rice Card Type, Date of Birth , Age , Gender , Relation , Total Family Members, Permanent Address of the rice card, Address of the fair price shop, Address of food and civil supplies Department office.
